Guilbeau joined the Fenstermaker family in 2020 as Risk Manager and quickly became an integral part of the team, bringing 18 years of experience to her work. Just a year later, Guilbeau was promoted to Director of Risk Management and Compliance, where she oversaw contract negotiations, proposals, professional liability, property insurance, quality, and safety. Some of her accomplishments as Director include:
- Helping to build Fenstermaker’s first dedicated contracts team, allowing them to be more proactive about claims mitigation, accident safety, and contract management.
- Rebuilding the proposal team. This new team structure increased the number of qualification-based proposals submitted fivefold, increasing the success rate by 15 percent.
- Contributing to an increased focus on safety training, observation analysis, and the introduction of incentivized bonuses for consistent safety across the organization.

Guilbeau points to the team around her as being instrumental in creating a smooth transition into her new role. She is looking forward to diving into new areas of knowledge (like IT), and continuing to hold employee advocacy as her highest goal. “Learning how we do things and then implementing processes that create efficiency for the betterment of our entire organization is my major focus as I move into this new role,” she said.
